Capricorn Metals (ASX:CMM) produced 31,218 ounces of gold at its Karlawinda gold project in Western Australia during the September quarter, up from 30,437 ounces in the June quarter, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The gold was produced at a head grade of 0.94 grams per tonne, compared with 0.91 g/t in the June quarter, per the filing.
The company said it completed construction of the Karlawinda expansion project on schedule and within budget, with the operation on track to achieve fiscal 2027 guidance of 137,000 to 147,000 ounces at an all-in sustaining cost of AU$1,900 to AU$2,100 per ounce.
The expansion project has been incorporated into the broader Karlawinda operation, increasing its processing capacity to 6.5 million tonnes per annum and expected production to 150,000 ounces per year, Capricorn Metals said.
The company ended the September quarter with cash and gold on hand of AU$535 million, up from AU$507 million at the close of June.
