Atomic Eagle Achieves Up to 86% Uranium Recoveries During Leach Testing at Zambia Project

Atomic Eagle (ASX:AEU) achieved uranium recoveries of between 81% and 86% during leach tests as part of the metallurgical test work program on drill core from the Muntanga East deposit within its Muntanga project in Zambia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company also reported low acid consumption of roughly 3 kilograms per tonne during the uranium extraction period, "significantly" below the average consumption across the broader project, the filing said.

Program results will be incorporated into ongoing technical studies, per the filing.

Shares fell 1% in afternoon trade Tuesday.
