Prospect Resources (ASX:PSC) provided a further update on its ongoing phase three drilling programs at the Mumbezhi copper project, in which it holds a 90% interest, in Zambia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The results were up to 18 meters at 1.31% copper from 148 meters, 7.4 meters at 1.11% copper from 101 meters and 30.6 meters at 0.42% copper from 52 meters.

Four diamond drill rigs are currently operating on site, three at Nyungu Central and one at Kabikupa, with one rig moving shortly to the regional Chipimpa prospect and another moving to the Kamafamba prospect area later in October, the filing added.

The Mumbezhi scoping study remains on track for completion and release in the first quarter of 2027, the company said.
