Kantra Copper said it has provided an update on drilling activities at its Kanmantoo copper mine in South Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 70 meters at 1.18% copper and 0.24 grams per tonne grade of gold from 507 meters downhole, including 38 meters at 1.46% copper and 0.18 g/t gold from 507 meters.
Chief Executive Bob Fulker said the results continue to demonstrate the growth potential of the Nugent lode, with drilling confirming mineralization well below the current mining horizon and highlighting opportunities to further expand resources at depth.
The company's shares rose 1% in recent Thursday trade.
