EVT to Open Two More SCREENX Cinemas in December, Taking Total to Eight

EVT (ASX:EVT) said Event Cinemas Macquarie and Event Cinemas Shellharbour will be the next two SCREENX cinemas to open this December, expanding the screen format to Sydney's north and the Illawarra and bringing Event Cinemas to eight SCREENX locations across Australia and New Zealand, according to a Thursday statement.
The company said the rollout is part of the ongoing premiumization of its entertainment offering and its partnership with global cinema technology company CJ 4DPLEX.
The company's shares fell 1% in recent Thursday trade.
