FedEx (FDX) has placed an order for 2,000 all-electric trucks from Harbinger Motors in a deal valued at more than $300 million, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing a statement from the electric-vehicle startup.
Harbinger plans to deliver the vehicles by the end of 2027 and FedEx will deploy the trucks across its pickup and delivery operations in the US and Canada, replacing an equal number of internal-combustion vehicles, according to the report.
The deal is expected to be announced later on Wednesday, Bloomberg said.
The companies didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
