Morningstar to Relocate Global Headquarters to Chicago's Thompson Center

Morningstar (MORN) plans to relocate its global headquarters to Chicago's Thompson Center and commit $5 million over five years to local nonprofits, the company said on Wednesday.
The company said it plans to occupy more than 275,000 square feet and move into the building in late 2028.
Morningstar, which has been headquartered in Chicago for more than 40 years, said the new office will co-anchor the Thompson Center with Google.
The company said it currently employs more than 1,500 people in Chicago.
