Commonwealth Bank of Australia Issues 2 Billion Yuan Subordinated Notes Due 2036

Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) issued 2 billion yuan worth of subordinated fixed reset notes due Sept. 30, 2036, under its $70 billion euro Medium Term Note Program, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The bank said the subordinated notes could potentially exchange into fully paid ordinary shares if a non-viability trigger event occurs, the filing added.
