Waratah Minerals Identifies Gold Mineralization at New South Wales Mining License

Waratah Minerals (ASX:WTM) reported results from its first drillhole below the Ironclad gold mining licenses, as it begins expanding drilling northward around the Cargo Intrusive Complex at its Spur project in New South Wales, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to five meters at 1.79 grams per tonne gold from 101 meters within a broad zone grading 30 meters at 0.47 grams per tonne gold from 84 meters.
Additional drilling has been permitted at Ironclad and Goldenclad, with drilling underway at Goldenclad and follow-up drilling at Ironclad planned for October to target shallow, high-grade gold, per the filing.
The company's shares rose 2% in recent Tuesday trade.
