SoftBank's BBIX, Getworks Launch OCX Site at Miyagi AI Data Center

SoftBank (TYO:9434) subsidiary BBIX and Getworks have launched a new open connectivity exchange (OCX) connection site at the Miyagi AI Data Center, according to a Wednesday statement.
The connection site will build connectivity from AI and GPU infrastructure in the Tohuku region to external cloud platforms and major data centers.
OCX is a cloud-based network service offered by BBIX and subsidiary BBSakura Networks, a network solutions provider.
BBIX operates an internet exchange business, while Getworks constructs and operates container data centers.
Shares of SoftBank rose more than 1% in recent trade.
