Polymetals Resources Identifies High-Grade Silver-Zinc-Lead Mineralization in NSW Mine

Polymetals Resources (ASX:POL) reported the remaining assay results from the Upper Main Lode underground drilling program at its Endeavor silver-zinc-lead mine in New South Wales, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The results were up to 14.2 meters at 687 grams per tonne silver equivalent, comprising 494 grams per tonne silver, 4.8% zinc, 7.1% lead, and 0.75 grams per tonne gold.

Difficult drilling conditions resulted in significant core loss in several intervals while the company progressed Upper Main Lode mine design and ore reserve estimation, the filing added.

The company's shares rose almost 2% in recent Wednesday trade.
