Cleveland-Cliffs' (CLF) Stelco expects to indefinitely suspend some steel operations in Hamilton, Ontario, due to disruptions caused by US tariffs, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing a company letter to customers it viewed.

The Canadian steelmaker plans to idle its cold-rolled and coated operations at Hamilton Works in the coming weeks, the report said, citing the letter.

Cleveland-Cliffs and Stelco didn't immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
