Macquarie Group Unit to Issue AU$1.4 Billion of Subordinated Notes

Macquarie Group's (ASX:MQG) Macquarie Bank unit will issue AU$1.4 billion of subordinated notes on Wednesday, according to a same-day filing with the Australian bourse.

The offering includes AU$200 million of fixed-to-floating-rate debt instruments due March 30, 2037, AU$500 million of floating-rate debt due Sept. 30, 2041, and AU$700 million of floating-rate notes due March 30, 2037, per the filing.

The notes will be issued under the bank's AU$10 billion subordinated Tier 2 debt instrument program.
