Thailand's Private Consumption Growth Slows in August

Private consumption in Thailand expanded 0.4% month over month in August, according to data from the Bank of Thailand on Wednesday.
The reading, measured via the Private Consumption Index (PCI), compared with a 1.2% month-over-month increase recorded in the previous month.
On a year-over-year basis, private consumption rose 3.7%, sharper than the 3% increase in July.
