Samsung Heavy Industries (KRX:010140) has landed a 307.4 billion won contract to build two Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs) with a buyer in the Bermuda region.
The contract period runs from Sept. 29, 2026, to Feb. 28, 2030, with the end date based on the delivery date, which may change depending on construction progress, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
The contract includes a deposit or advance payment, with payment terms made according to construction progress.
