Lockheed Martin Gets $724M Contract for Japanese Military Work

Lockheed Martin received a $724 million contract modification from the Pentagon's Missile Defense Agency.
The contract is under a military foreign sales case to the Japanese Ministry of Defense. It is an increase from a $1.64 billion award to a $2.36 billion contract.
Under the contract modification, Lockheed Martin will perform work including the delivery of Aegis System equipped vessels and combat systems to Japan.
The work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and in Japan. Work is set to be complete by March 31, 2030.
