Brightstar Resources (ASX:BTR) said deep diamond drilling at the Two Mile Hill deposit in Western Australia intersected visible gold, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
A roughly 3,800-meter extensional program has been completed to delineate the tonalite-hosted Two Mile Hill mineralization at depth, with assays pending for all holes, per the filing.
"This is a significant extension of the previously interpreted Two Mile Hill deposit at depth, representing substantial likelihood for material mineral resource upside," Brightstar said.
Its shares rose 8% in recent Wednesday trade.
