Alcidion Group Secures Nearly AU$8 Million NHS Contract for Miya Flow Expansion; Shares Up 5%

Alcidion Group (ASX:ALC) has secured a new AU$7.5 million contract with Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust to expand its Miya Flow digital health platform across multiple hospitals in Greater Manchester, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The three-year agreement will upgrade the existing ExtraMed patient-flow system at Salford Royal Hospital and extend Miya Flow to Royal Oldham Hospital, Fairfield General Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary, with options to extend the agreement by two years and add further modules, per the filing.

The company expects to recognize around AU$4.5 million in revenue during the current year, including a six-month renewal of the existing ExtraMed subscription while Miya Flow is implemented, the filing added.

The company's shares rose around 5% in recent Wednesday trade.
