Pharming Group has parted ways with its top executive, Fabrice Chouraqui, after a disagreement over the biotechnology company's strategy.

Pharming on Tuesday said Chouraqui has stepped down as chief executive and executive director by mutual agreement with the board after concluding that their views on how to advance the Netherlands-based company's strategy aren't sufficiently aligned.

Pharming said Leverne Marsh, its chief commercial officer, and Kenneth Lynard, its finance chief, have stepped in as interim co-CEOs, with Marsh leading patient-focused operations and Lynard heading global corporate functions.

Pharming said its board has started a formal search for a permanent successor to Chouraqui, who had been at the helm since March 2025.
