Singapore, Brunei Maritime Authorities Sign MOU to Boost Cooperation

Singapore's Maritime and Port Authority and Brunei Darussalam's Maritime and Port Authority signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen maritime and port cooperation.

The agreement covers collaboration in digitalization, maritime safety, port State control inspections, incident investigations and training, according to a Tuesday announcement.

The authorities will also strengthen exchanges and cooperation in other areas of mutual interest.

The authorities said the cooperation aims to promote safe, clean and efficient shipping.
