Daiwa Securities Living Investment to Borrow 2.3 Billion Yen to Fund Property Acquisitions

Daiwa Securities Living Investment (TYO:8986) will borrow 2.3 billion yen from MUFG Bank to help fund the acquisition of four rental housing properties, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.

The loan carries interest at JBA 1‑month yen TIBOR plus 0.3000%, with drawdown on Oct. 8, 2026 and lump‑sum repayment due Sept. 30, 2027. Following the financing, total interest-bearing debt will increase from 210.2 billion yen to 212.5 billion yen.

In a separate disclosure, the REIT agreed to acquire Gran Casa Kuramae II, Gran Casa Asakusa II, Gran Casa Ryogoku II and Gran Casa Ryogoku for 5.84 billion yen.

The REIT will simultaneously dispose of Maison de Ville Takanawa Gyoranzaka for an anticipated disposition price of 2.15 billion yen.
