Sony Group (SONY), the New York Times (NYT) and film studio A24 have expressed interest in Letterboxd, with the social network for movie fans valued at more than $300 million, the New York Times reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Canadian company Tiny, which owns a controlling stake in Letterboxd, hired LionTree to explore a sale this year, the report said.

A deal would value Letterboxd at about 20 times its projected 2026 earnings of roughly $15 million, the report said.

Letterboxd and the potential suitors did not immediately respond to request for comment from MT Newswires.
