Daiwa House REIT Investment Finalizes Terms for 5 Billion Yen Loans

Daiwa House REIT Investment (TYO:8984) has finalized terms for two new loans totalling 5 billion yen, according to its Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.

The first sustainability loan of 500 million yen from Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company, will carry a fixed interest rate of 2.97126% and has a three and a half year term.

The borrowing is scheduled to be executed on Sept. 30, 2026, with a bullet repayment of the principal due on March 29, 2030.

The second loan of 4.5 billion yen from a consortium of banks, namely Sumitomo Mitsui Banking; The Norinchukin Bank; Sumitomo Mitsui Trust; MUFG Bank; and Mizuho Bank, will carry a fixed rate of 3.0325%.

The four-year loan will be drawn down on Sept. 30, 2026, and will be payable on Sept. 30, 2030.
