China Oriental Enters Support Service, Leasing Contract with 50%-Owned JV

China Oriental (HKG:0581) agreed to provide business support, personnel secondment, and leasing services to ArcelorMittal Jinxi New Material (Tangshan).

The term of the service provision contracts begins Sept. 25, 2026, and ends Dec. 31, 2028, a Friday bourse filing said.

The company will provide ArcelorMittal Jinxi New Material with support services including office supply provision, document processing, staff accommodation, promotional and event support services, as well as assign certain staff to the latter through secondment arrangements.

The steel and iron company will also lease certain properties and office spaces in China to ArcelorMittal Jinxi New Material.

ArcelorMittal Jinxi New Material, 50% owned by the China Oriental, is currently constructing its production facilities and will engage mainly in designing, building, and operating a hot strip mill in China to produce electrical steel grade hot-rolled coil substrates and other products.
