KFC to Open New Restaurant in Texas as Part of Comeback Strategy

Yum! Brands (YUM) KFC said Thursday its new Open House restaurant will open Sept. 26 in McKinney, Texas, bringing together new menu offerings, promotions and dining experiences as part of its Kentucky Fried Comeback.
The restaurant will offer expanded menu choices, new flavors and dayparts from breakfast through late night, while keeping KFC's Original Recipe fried chicken and bucket at the center of the menu.
KFC said the location will also serve as a testing ground to identify ideas that could be scaled across its restaurant system.
