Rolls-Royce said it plans to invest 300 million pounds, or $397 million, in its U.K. manufacturing and engineering facilities to boost growth across its aerospace and defense divisions.
The British engineering and defense company said the investment would ensure it can meet manufacturing demand while also supporting future aerospace programs.
At its Derby site, the group plans to invest in new engineering and manufacturing services, increase capacity and improve operational efficiency. Those works are expected to be completed in 2028, it said Monday.
In Bristol, the company intends to enhance operational delivery and digital security, among other measures, with completion due in 2031.
Rolls-Royce said investments across other U.K. sites will strengthen the country's industrial capacity in aerospace and support sovereign defense capabilities.
