Samsung Electro-Mechanics to Invest KRW4.27 Trillion in Package Substrate Production Expansion

Samsung Electro-Mechanics (KRX:009150) has decided to expand its package substrate production facilities at its Sejong plant in Korea, with an investment of 4.27 trillion won.

This amount represents 43.6% of the company's equity capital of 9.797 trillion won based on consolidated financial statements as of the end of 2025.

The investment, which runs from Sept. 28, 2026, to May 31, 2028, aims to increase package substrate production capacity at its Sejong plant site, according to a bourse filing on Monday.
