Metallus received a contract for up to $995 million from the Defense Logistics Agency for high fragmentation steel.
The award was a sole-source acquisition and is a five-year contract with no option periods.
Work is set to be completed on Sept. 24, 2031. The Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Space Force are all using military services for the award.
