Zhuhai Amicro Technology is getting ready to kickoff its pre-IPO roadshow as it targets a more than $100 million raise from a Hong Kong public listing, according to a Monday report by the South China Morning Post, citing people familiar with the matter.
The report said bourse operator HKEX has cleared Amicro to begin offering shares to potential investors after the Xiaomi-backed robotics chipmaker passed a listing hearing.
The company has planned bookbuilding as early as this week, with shares expected to trade by mid October, the report said. Mainland China regulators had given Amicro the nod for listing in Hong Kong back in August, and offer up to 90.9 million shares.
Amicro and Xiaomi were not immediately available to MT Newswires for comment.
