China Merchants Port Units Sign Various Agreements with Affiliates

China Merchants Port (HKG:0144) unit Hambantota International Port Group entered various agreements with Hoi Tung Innotek (Hong Kong) related to equipment at Hambantota International Port, a Monday bourse filing showed.

The first two contracts are related to the supply, installation, and commissioning of safety features at 16 existing rubber tyred gantry cranes for $1.1 million and at seven existing ship-to-shore (quay) cranes for $850,000.

The electrification agreement relates to the electrical conversion of 12 prime movers, one reach stacker, and one empty stacker for $1.3 million.

Elsewhere, unit China Merchants Bonded Logistics agreed to procure leasing and related services from Qianhai Yigang Park Operation starting Oct. 1, 2026, and ending Dec. 31, 2028.

Hoi Tung Innotek (Hong Kong) and Shenzhen Qianhai Yigang Park Operation are units of China Merchants Group, China Merchants Port's ultimate holding company.
