Netwealth Group (ASX:NWL) said its subsidiaries, Netwealth Investments and Netwealth Superannuation Services, have been served with a class-action statement of claim relating to certain First Guardian Investment options offered through the Netwealth Superannuation Master Fund, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

The company intends to defend the claim, which it said concerns matters previously addressed through its court-enforceable undertaking with Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

The undertaking included a compensation program completed in January, under which around AU$101 million was paid to affected members based on their net capital invested in First Guardian, the filing said.
