Peloton is pushing deeper into running with three new treadmill models.
The exercise-equipment maker said Tuesday the new lineup includes its first foldable treadmill, designed to save space. Starting at $2,195, the model is Peloton's most affordable treadmill, the company said.
One of the company's other new treadmills is built for runners looking for a more personalized experience with a movement-tracking camera for insights into form, Peloton said, while the third builds on that offering with a sled mode designed for Hyrox training.
The expanded lineup aims to allow the company to cater a wider audience, Chief Executive Peter Stern said.
"From record marathon turnouts around the world to the rise of local run clubs, we're rediscovering the joy of running, walking and hiking, which we see translating into strong engagement across our platform," Stern said.
The new treadmills, as well as new artificial-intelligence-powered software for runners, will be available starting Oct. 1, the company said.
