0354 GMT - The potential for US$50 million in cost synergies jumps out at UBS analysts as a key attraction of Telix Pharmaceuticals' US$2.35 billion acquisition of isotope manufacturer ITM. The analysts, who have a last-published buy rating on Telix's Australia-listed stock, tell clients in a note that the vertical integration of Telix with a supplier of key therapeutic isotopes strengthens its platform. They point out that ITM sits within a commercially validated category, with global annual sales of US$800 million for approved somatostatin receptor-targeted radioligand therapies. UBS has a target price of 22.00 Australian dollars on the stock, which is down 5.4% at A$16.88.
