Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals (SHA:600276, HKG:1276) and its subsidiary Fujian Shengdi Medicine received clinical trial approval from China's National Medical Products Administration for its HRS-4729 self-developed injection for chronic kidney disease.
The drug suppresses appetite, delays gastric emptying, improves insulin sensitivity, breaks down fat, and boosts energy expenditure, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
