Revvity (RVTY) shares rose 3.7% in Thursday trading after the company launched its GSP T1D 3plex kit, a fully automated test that helps identify children at risk of developing type 1 diabetes before symptoms appear.
The test uses dried blood spot samples and runs on Revvity's GSP instrument, enabling high-volume screening and potentially identifying at-risk individuals months or years before symptoms develop.
The kit will launch in Europe and other markets that accept CE-IVD-approved diagnostics. Revvity said the test is not cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration.
