Multi-Chem (SGX:AWZ) said its CEO Foo Suan Sai and COO Han Juat Hoon were interviewed by Singapore's Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) and asked to provide bail and surrender their passports and mobile phones.
Two senior sales employees were also interviewed by the CPIB, while the Audit and Risk Management Committee said it did not know whether they were asked to surrender their passports or mobile phones, according to a Friday filing.
The CPIB also attended the group's premises and requested documents including certain accounts, employee claims and an agreement involving a vendor.
The committee said it was seeking further information on the interviews and investigation.
