Fantasia Wins Creditor Backing to Extend Offshore Debt Restructuring Deadline

Fantasia (HKG:1777) secured creditor approval to extend the longstop date for its offshore debt restructuring to June 30 from May 31, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.

Scheme creditors holding claims with an aggregate principal amount of about $3.58 billion participated in the vote.

Creditors representing about $3.55 billion of claims, or 99.15% by value of those voting, supported the extension, the filing showed.

Shares of the property developer fell over 3% in Monday morning trade.
