Regarding the above situation, Guming (HK: 01364) told Sina Finance: "We have always paid attention to the Shanghai market, but currently we have not officially opened a store in Shanghai."

Public information shows that Guming opened its first store in Wenling, Zhejiang, in April 2010. As of the end of 2025, Guming had 13,554 stores nationwide. At present, Guming's store network has covered more than 20 provinces and more than 230 cities across the country, mainly concentrated in East China, Central China, and South China.

In its home base of Zhejiang, the number of stores has exceeded 2,600; the number of stores in Fujian, Jiangxi, and Guangdong has also each exceeded 1,000, but it has still never had a store in Shanghai.
