China Resources Building Materials Technology Holdings Limited (CR BLDG MAT TEC) has released a dividend-currency election notice for its interim dividend relating to the financial year ending 31 December 2026. Eligible shareholders may choose to receive the HK$0.014 per-share interim payout either in Hong Kong dollars—the default option—or in Renminbi (RMB).
Shareholders opting for RMB will receive RMB 0.01210524 per share, based on the fixed exchange rate of HK$1.00 : RMB 0.86466 announced on 21 August 2026. The election can cover only the 2026 interim dividend or be made permanent to include all future cash dividends.
To activate the currency choice, an accurately completed election form must reach the company’s share registrar, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited, by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, 12 October 2026. Forms received after this deadline will result in dividends being paid in Hong Kong dollars. The closing time will be extended if a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, a Black Rainstorm Warning, or government-declared “extreme conditions” is in effect that afternoon.
Shareholders recorded on 18 September 2026 are eligible for the election. Those choosing RMB should ensure their bank accounts can clear RMB cheques; the company cautions that clearance outside Hong Kong or without fees cannot be guaranteed.
Joint holders must all sign the election form, while corporate holders need to execute the form under seal or by authorised signatory. Once a permanent currency choice is lodged, the company will cease sending further election forms unless written revocation is provided.
Failure to make any election maintains the default payment in Hong Kong dollars.
