Hong Kong Stocks Open Lower: Hang Seng Index Falls 0.53%, Tech Index Down 0.41%, Gold Shares Rebound, CAMSENSE Surges Over 185% on Debut

On Tuesday, U.S. stocks fluctuated and closed lower as investors awaited the upcoming non-farm payrolls data, with all three major indices finishing in the red. The U.S. dollar remained strong, the 10-year Treasury yield fell back to 4.23%, gold prices rebounded from lows, while oil prices continued to decline.

Today, the three major Hong Kong stock indices all opened lower. The Hang Seng Index dropped 0.53% to 24,393.88 points at the open, the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 0.41%, and the State-owned Enterprises Index declined 0.52%.

On the board, tech and internet stocks broadly declined, with Bilibili and Alibaba both falling nearly 1%. PCB concept stocks opened higher, with Jingwang Electronics rising over 3%. Gold shares rebounded, with Chifeng Gold gaining more than 2%. Oil stocks weakened, with PetroChina dropping over 1%. CAMSENSE surged over 185% on its first day of listing.
