Since the start of this year, Friendship County has anchored itself to the transportation development plan for the 15th Five-Year Plan period, firmly grasping project construction as the primary engine, continuously improving the regional modern comprehensive transportation network, and building momentum for high-quality county-level economic and social development.

Walking into the construction site of the Jiatong Railway capacity expansion and renovation project (Shuangyashan City Friendship County section), one can see machinery roaring and operations proceeding in an orderly manner. Construction workers are closely focused on key procedures such as roadbed filling, concrete pouring, and frame bridge construction, carrying out standardized operations in strict accordance with technical specifications, and going all out to push forward project progress, creating a bustling scene on site.

Meng Xiangguo, chief engineer of the Jiatong Railway capacity expansion and renovation project (Shuangyashan City Friendship County section) of China Railway 23rd Bureau Group, said: "Recently we have seized the fine weather, increased staffing and equipment, and gone all out to accelerate project progress. As of now, more than 70% of the project construction has been completed. After the project is finished, it will effectively improve transportation efficiency, smooth the grain outbound transportation corridor of the Sanjiang Plain, and provide strong transportation support for regional development."

It is reported that the project is planned and built to a two-way dual-lane standard, with a supporting pedestrian overpass to achieve the separation of people and vehicles. After the project is completed and opened to traffic, it will effectively enhance overall traffic capacity, travel speed, and road safety, smooth the urban and rural traffic flow, and provide solid transportation support for high-quality county-level economic and social development.
