Jiaxin International Resources Investment Limited (JIAXIN INTL RES) has appointed Zheng Wenyi as an executive director and member of the remuneration committee, effective 29 September 2026.
Zheng, aged 55, currently serves as vice president of the Group and will continue in that role. He will not receive a director’s fee; his existing annual salary of RMB 0.45 million and discretionary bonus terms remain unchanged. No service contract has been signed in connection with the directorship.
With 32 years of experience spanning construction project management, investment management and legal affairs, Zheng joined the Group in April 2016. His prior positions within the Group include deputy general manager (April 2016–December 2019) and deputy director of Zhetisu Volframy LLP (January 2020–March 2024). Earlier in his career, he held managerial roles at Zhuhai Huayue Investment Company Limited from 1994 to 2016.
Zheng holds a college degree in industrial and civil construction (1990) and completed an undergraduate programme in administrative management at The Open University of China in January 2025.
Under the Company’s articles of association, Zheng will serve until the first annual general meeting after his appointment, when he will be eligible for re-election and thereafter subject to retirement by rotation at least once every three years.
Following this appointment, the Board comprises three executive directors (Xie Wenbo, Qiu Huaizhi and Zheng Wenyi), three non-executive directors (Wang Zhongwei, Chen Keqin and Gong Yunfan) and three independent non-executive directors (Zhu Guoshan, Wang Jianfeng and Wong Hok Bun Mario).
