TH MEDICAL-B (02697) rose more than 5% against the broader market trend. As of press time, the stock was up 4.30% at HK$276.4, with a turnover of HK$18.1387 million.
On the news front, on September 2, the National Healthcare Security Administration released the Version 3.0 grouping scheme for Diagnosis-Related Groups and Diagnosis-Intervention Packet (DRG/DIP) payment, in which robot-assisted surgery was for the first time separately grouped; among the newly added identification categories, in addition to open surgery, laparoscopy, endoscopy, and thoracoscopy, percutaneous puncture was also listed as an independent category.
Public information shows that TH MEDICAL-B's surgical robot product line covers both puncture and ablation, both of which fall under this technological pathway; beyond that, the company has also extended its products to ex vivo organ preservation and assessment.
Notably, TH MEDICAL-B recently entered into a sales contract with an independent third party to sell a puncture surgical navigation and positioning system to the buyer, with a total contract value of nearly RMB 100 million, and the relevant products will be delivered successively in the near term.
The board of directors believes that the signing of this contract and the subsequent deliveries are expected to further expand the company's installed base, drive growth in equipment revenue, and create conditions for the continuous increase of consumable repurchases and service revenue, accelerating the operation of the "equipment-consumables-services" sustainable business model and enabling precision minimally invasive and non-invasive diagnosis and treatment to benefit more patients.
