Mini triathlon, digital science masterclass, lakeside concert, lifestyle market... On September 26, a reporter learned from Changping District that the 60-day 2026 Zhongguancun Life Science Park Carnival has officially begun.

The event, themed "Life Science · Full Vitality," will continuously roll out a series of activities including sports, science popularization, music, and lifestyle markets, offering rich public cultural experiences for park employees and nearby residents.

From September 23 to 24, the carnival's first events unfolded simultaneously across multiple spaces including Jingsi Lake, Life Plaza, Innovation Building, and the Medical Science Center.

By the shores of Jingsi Lake, a mini triathlon was held featuring running, paddleboarding, and cycling, with fun sports challenges including agility ladders, reaction tests, and frisbee nine-grid games; the lifestyle market brought together 30 curators offering handmade crafts, food, and folk art treasures.

The park also organized free medical consultations, providing physical and mental relaxation services for park employees.

Science popularization activities also drew significant attention. On the first floor cafe of Building 6, a digital science masterclass titled "From AI Digital Humans to AI Digital Employees" shared insights on topics including artificial intelligence and digital humans.

At Life Plaza and the Innovation Building, the "Valley Starlight | Valley Innovation Achievement Exhibition" showcased innovative achievements of park enterprises, bringing scientific research innovation from laboratories and meeting rooms into public spaces.

According to organizers, this carnival will last 60 days, further enriching the park's public cultural life through diverse activities in sports, music, science popularization, and social networking.

Starting October 9, the carnival will enter the "Valley Time · Golden Autumn Quartet" series of activities, successively launching lakeside live performances, super Monday dance parties, beer garden symphony concerts, and more.

Meanwhile, the Life Science Jingsi Lake Talks expert training courses will also be held concurrently, with 10 sessions planned, inviting achievement transformation heads from Peking University, Capital Medical University, and other institutions, as well as experts in concept validation and AI applications, to provide exchange and training services for the park's innovation projects.

From sports experiences to musical performances, from innovation achievement displays to professional training, the Life Science Park Carnival connects multiple public spaces throughout the park, enriching the after-work lives of park employees while also providing more platforms for exchange and interaction among enterprises, talent, and innovative achievements.
