US Chip Stocks Rally Broadly as Major Indices Open Slightly Higher

All three major US stock indices opened slightly higher, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 0.35%, the S&P 500 gaining 0.26%, and the Nasdaq Composite climbing 0.31%.
The memory chip sector advanced, with SanDisk up more than 2%, while Micron Technology, SK Hynix, and Seagate Technology each gained over 1%.
Akamai surged 13% after signing a cloud computing agreement worth $11.6 billion with Anthropic.
Tesla rose 2% as the company stated it aims to establish a production line capable of manufacturing more than 1,000 robots per week by the end of this year.
