Continuous Beam Mid-Span Closure Achieved on Jingjiang Grand Bridge of Hangzhou Airport High-Speed Railway

The mid-span of the continuous beam of the Jingjiang Grand Bridge on the Hangzhou Airport High-Speed Railway, constructed by China Railway 15th Bureau, was closed on October 1, according to China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, laying a solid foundation for subsequent construction.

Zhang Jianqiang, party secretary of the Hangzhou Airport project under the Second Company of China Railway 15th Bureau, introduced that the main line of the Hangzhou Airport High-Speed Railway project starts from Tongxiang Station and ends at Shaoxing North Station, with a total length of about 85 kilometers and a newly built main line length of about 72 kilometers.

The Jingjiang Grand Bridge has a total length of 5,436 meters, the continuous beam of the bridge pier has a total length of 161.1 meters, and the total width of the bridge is 12.48 meters, featuring precise structural design and high construction precision requirements.

Once the Hangzhou Airport High-Speed Railway is completed, it will effectively shorten the travel time and distance between Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport and various parts of the province.
