LIGENT Secures HKEX Exemption from Issuing a Separate 1H26 Interim Report

Ligent Technologies, Inc. (LIGENT) announced it has obtained an exemption from Hong Kong Stock Exchange Rule 13.48(1), which would normally require the publication of an interim report within three months after the period-end.

The waiver covers the six months ended 30 June 2026. Management cited three reasons that satisfy the Listing Rule’s Note: 1. The company’s prospectus dated 14 September 2026 already contains all interim financial information stipulated in Appendix D2 of the Listing Rules, including comparative figures for the six months ended 30 June 2025. 2. The prospectus includes a detailed statement on LIGENT’s compliance with the Corporate Governance Code in Appendix C1, along with explanations for any deviations. 3. The exemption does not conflict with the company’s constitutional documents, Cayman Islands law or other regulatory requirements.

Accordingly, LIGENT will not distribute a standalone interim or summary interim report for 1H26. Shareholders and potential investors can access the relevant financial disclosures through the prospectus posted on the HKEX news website (www.hkexnews.hk) and the company’s website (www.ligent.com).

The board is chaired by non-executive director Yu Zhitao and currently comprises two executive directors, three additional non-executive directors and three independent non-executive directors.

Date of announcement: 29 September 2026.
