Midea Group Schedules 2026 First EGM to Vote on Restricted-Share Buybacks and Interim Dividend

Midea Group has convened its first Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of 2026 for 13 October 2026 at 2:30 p.m. in Foshan, Guangdong.

Key agenda items: 1. Repurchase and cancellation of restricted shares granted under the 2022 and 2023 Restricted Share Incentive Schemes. 2. Approval of the 2026 interim profit distribution proposal.

Shareholder logistics: • The H-share register will be closed from 8 October to 13 October 2026 (both days inclusive). • The record date to determine voting eligibility is 13 October 2026. • Transfer documents must reach Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services by 4:30 p.m. on 7 October 2026. • Voting will be conducted by poll; proxies are permitted but must be lodged at least 24 hours before the meeting.

Board composition at notice date (27 September 2026): five executive directors, one non-executive director, and four independent non-executive directors, chaired by Mr. Fang Hongbo.

Attendees should expect the meeting to last no more than half a day and will bear their own travel and accommodation costs.
