OpenAI has introduced a new premium speed tier called Ultrafast, available in ChatGPT, its coding assistant Codex, and its application programming interface (API).
OpenAI said Ultrafast can generate tokens up to 8 times faster in Codex and up to 6 times faster in the API.
"We think you're going to love this and never want to go back," Altman said during the keynote.
