On the news front, on September 16, the crushing system of the heap leaching plant at the Jinling Gold Mine officially started trial material feeding and achieved complete success. This marks another key milestone for the project following the peak installation period of core equipment in the first half of the year, signaling that the Jinling Gold Mine's 15 million tonnes per year expansion project has officially entered the stage of process system commissioning with material feed, with overall construction progress continuing to advance ahead of expectations.

China Merchants Securities previously issued a research report stating that Wanguo Gold Group (ASX: 03939) owns the Jinling producing gold mine located in the Solomon Islands, and the project has excellent resource endowments. The flotation plant capacity at the Jinling Mine is being expanded from 3.5 million tonnes per year to 13.5 million tonnes per year, with significant incremental production. Meanwhile, Zijin Mining Group has become one of the company's major shareholders through a wholly-owned subsidiary's equity investment, and cooperation between the two parties will facilitate experience sharing and provide support for the Jinling project in areas such as overseas mining technology and mine operations.
